  • Participate in the hiring process for any new team members, complete performance reviews, and training.
  • Oversee and manage the Family Resource Center, Family Support, Guardianship and Trusteeship, and Accessibility Supports programs.
  • Monitor program metrics and performance to assess its effectiveness and collaborate with Director of Impact to adjust as necessary to achieve program goals.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline workflow and optimize service delivery.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the quality of service provided by the programs.
  • Integrate an anti-oppression framework into all aspects of program management and service delivery.
  • Address ableism, combat anti-racism, and dismantle barriers to ensure equitable access and support for all individuals and families.
  • Ensure programs are effective and align with Easter Seals Alberta’s strategic plan.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with community partners to enhance program effectiveness, reach, and awareness.
  • Conduct community presentations to raise awareness about the programs and services offered.
  • Represent the organization at community events and forums.
  • Attend interagency meetings to coordinate efforts and share best practices.
  • Collaborate with other organizations and agencies to address common goals and challenges.
  • Manage the program budget effectively, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and allocation of resources.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of program-related data and statistics.
  • Develop documentation for training materials and processes within the program.
  • Develop training modules for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
  • A Degree or Diploma in Social Work is required
  • Minimum 5 years of related Social Work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role
  • Experience with the PDD and FSCD services is an asset
  • Experience working with individuals with diverse ability levels and needs based assessment is an asset.

Position details
  • The Program and Resource Manager, Social Services. position is 35 hours/week in-person and reports to the Director of Impact.
  • Valid Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is a requirement for this position.
  • A clear Enhanced Police Information Check and vulnerable sector check are conditions of employment.
