What are your contributions to the team?
  • Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, and quality assurance teams, as well as suppliers, throughout the various stages of the product development process.
  • Analyzing system and design requirements to develop comprehensive test plans, protocols, and reports that ensure designs meet all specifications and standards.
  • Applying technical knowledge to design, develop, and validate test methods, processes, fixtures, and automation systems.
  • Performing engineering, functional, and performance testing on electrical and electro-mechanical components, subsystems, and complete systems.
  • Monitoring and analyzing test results, generating detailed technical reports, and providing recommendations to improve design and manufacturability.
  • Providing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) input during design and development reviews.
  • Work on the development, design, and testing of various mechanical/electrical systems.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • You have more than 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • You have experience in the design and/or integration of mechanical systems.
  • You understand the fundamentals of a product's engineering structure as well as certification rules.
  • You are highly motivated to take on challenges and determined to achieve results, bringing strong technical skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and a good problem-solving approach.
  • You possess a creative approach that aligns with Bombardier's design and innovation philosophy: highly innovative and functional in order to exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Knowledge of Catia and NX design software is an asset.
  • You are recognized for your ingenuity, versatility, and agility.
  • You are comfortable working with minimal supervision, you enjoy teamwork, and you have good project organization skills.
  • You are an excellent collaborator and team player.
  • You are bilingual in French and English (an asset).
