Job description

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Worker is responsible for operating various machines and equipment for production, packaging, and material handling of abrasive material. This is a backfill position. the hourly pay is $23.50 CAD.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging machines to fill various sized bags of abrasives
• Lifting bagged product up to 55lbs on a regular basis
• Unload and fill product silos
• Basic machine troubleshooting
• Wrap final skids and ensure properly labeled
• Operate forklift to move various product throughout facility
• Complete material tracking, and final product paperwork
• Maintain clean and safe working areas
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Comply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and safe work practices
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of Forklift experience
