Skretting Vancouver is seeking a Production Technician capable of executing a broad range of operational activities/processes according to established specifications and guidelines to meet production targets. The technician will start with packaging tasks and evolve into an all-round operator, proficient with all operational equipment and machinery.

The role involves executing operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, cleaning, labeling, and operating equipment to ensure safe, effective, and efficient production processes.

Reporting:

Logs data and information on production orders and activities, maintaining complete administration and insight into the production process. Identifies deviations and suggests improvements to optimize operations, participating in improvement projects as needed.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards. Promotes SHEQ awareness, signals hazards, and takes action in unsafe situations. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and the appearance of production areas.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of experience in production, packaging, or machine operation within a manufacturing environment.

Role Expectations:

• 12-hour rotating shifts, 3 days or nights per week.
• Hands-on with all production and packaging activities.
• Good knowledge of safety standards and hazard signaling.
