Overview
At Poka, we’re transforming how frontline teams operate, learn, and solve problems. Our connected worker platform is purpose-built for manufacturing, empowering frontline workers to share knowledge, collaborate in real-time, and drive continuous improvement. We’re proud to support global leaders like Nestlé, Bosch, Mars, and Danone in their digital transformation journeys. We are hiring an Oil & Gas Product Manager to lead delivery for a strategic, multi-site Oil & Gas customer on our connected-worker platform, owning the product relationship and translating client needs into clear requirements.
This role will work with the Daily Management team, ensuring strong alignment with operational priorities and seamless execution across functions. This is a unique opportunity to apply Oil & Gas expertise to help establish Poka’s blueprint for the industry and transform one customer’s success into repeatable wins for the sector.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Strategic account delivery – Be the main point of contact for one of our largest Oil & Gas customers. Oversee the full rollout of our solution, track progress, anticipate risks, ensure alignment with customer expectations, meet key milestones, and secure final sign-off from the customer.
- Building strong relationships – Act as the voice of the product with the customer. Translate operational needs into clear priorities and collaborate closely with Engineering and Design while keeping the customer’s needs front and center.
- Feature delivery & stakeholder coordination – Lead workshops with customer stakeholders to understand challenges and goals. Document scope, constraints, and ensure requirements are clear with defined quality standards.
- Vision & roadmap – Define how Poka can best serve the Oil & Gas sector over time. Identify valuable use cases, prioritize them, and guide investments in new features, integrations, and insights. Track success measures and market signals to stay relevant.
- Market & portfolio insights – Collect and maintain data on market trends, product performance, capability positioning, and competitors to inform roadmap and investments.
- Product champion & stakeholder enablement – Serve as the product expert for internal collaborators and customers. Communicate value, enable messaging, represent the product in executive meetings, and feed feedback into product improvements.
What you bring to the table
- Oil & Gas field experience – Several years in upstream / midstream operations or projects (e.g., production operations, maintenance / integrity, turnarounds / TARs, brownfield mods, HSE initiatives); comfortable with site realities: PPE, permits, contractor ecosystems, limited connectivity, and multilingual crews.
- Demonstrated leadership – Ability to create clarity, bring people together, and maintain momentum in real plant conditions. Earn trust by aligning teams on outcomes that matter.
- Communication & stakeholder management – Strong written and verbal communication; able to provide concise executive updates and engage credibly with frontline users and senior leaders.
- Data fluency – Comfortable defining success metrics / OKRs and using analytics and feedback to guide decisions.
- Languages – Professional English required; working proficiency in French is a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel – Locally or internationally up to 10% of the time; travel includes customer meetings, roadshows, seminars, team-building activities, etc.
