We are looking for a full-time Process Improvement Analyst to join our Analytics team based in Burlington, ON with a focus on Operations. The role is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our Burlington office.

Role Summary

The Process Improvement Analyst provides analytics to support decision making and drives best practices across the entire Supply Chain. The Process Improvement team values innovation, collaboration, accountability, excellence, trust, and fun. The team has four pillars of focus.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting (40% of time): Work with large data sets from the AS400 ERP systems and 3rd party solutions. Build complex reporting tools in Power BI, Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Process Improvement (40% of time): Map key supply chain processes and develop/implement improvement plans.
  • Data Management (20% of time): Maintain data integrity and keep it safe and secure.
  • Provide dashboards and analytics that drive enterprise results and support decision making.
  • Build queries, extract large datasets from the ERP and analyze them using Excel and Power BI.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to internal customers. Turn repetitive requests into self-service BI tools and train users to utilize them.
  • Use data to identify saving opportunities. Develop and present business solutions to all levels of Management. Positively influence and gain acceptance of these recommendations.
  • Provide project support to a functional group or business process. Coordinate with team members to take projects from concept through final implementation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business Analytics, Accounting or equivalent quantitative field is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Experience using other Microsoft Stack tools, including Azure Databricks, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy with data retrieval, manipulation and calculation. Attention to detail is an absolute must.
  • Ability to interpret data into compelling insights and present to external stakeholders.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in the Supply Chain industry is an asset.
  • Analysis experience in freight, network engineering, and warehouse flow is an asset.
