As a Pilot, Captain in the Customer Delivery division within the Challenger Flight Operations department, you will report to the Manager, Flight Operations. You will ensure that each Challenger aircraft meets the highest standards through flight testing, customer demonstrations, and ferry operations, while also supporting efficient flight operations.

  • Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
  • Conduct Customer Acceptance flights.
  • Carry out pre and post flight activities.
  • May be required to support the weekend schedule for extended periods.
  • May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
  • May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review.
  • Perform secondary duties to support the flight operations team.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience
  • Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
  • Have a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi engine aircraft.
  • Having a CL30 and/or CL604 endorsement is an asset.
  • Have flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
  • Have previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training a definite asset.
  • Have an US ATP is an asset.
  • Have the right to work and live in Canada is required.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to work with a team.
  • Have the ability to execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew and management.
  • Have a working knowledge of MS Office.
