Role and Responsibilities
  • Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
  • Conduct Customer Acceptance flights.
  • Carry out pre and post flight activities.
  • May be required to support the weekend schedule for extended periods.
  • May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
  • May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
  • Minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
  • Previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training is an asset.
  • A US ATP is an asset.
  • Right to work and live in Canada.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with a team.
  • Ability to execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew and management.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
