Are you a nurse with experience using PHIMS within a First Nations Health Center? Do you deliver presentations and trainings with confidence? If you answered yes to these questions, then keep reading this ad for your opportunity to support the movement of improving the health status of First Nations people in Manitoba using digital health technology. The PHIMS Trainer to work within our eHealth Department providing training to healthcare providers in First Nations across Manitoba.

What are we looking for? We’ll keep this brief, but feel free to contact us if you would like more info:

  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba;
  • Experience using PHIMS;
  • Extensive experience using related computer technology, clinical change management, and/or project leadership;
  • Experience implementing/supporting integrated clinical system environments is an asset;
  • Experience managing communicable diseases and providing immunizations is preferred;
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of clinical process, clinical services delivery, and patient/client satisfaction determinants across the organizations;
  • Someone who is personable and relatable as you will need to build strong relationships with the First Nations we work for;
  • Previous experience in providing training or workshops is a huge asset;
  • Travel is required as we provide the training directly within First Nations communities;
  • Ability to occasionally work flexible hours Monday to Friday.
