Personal Support Worker – Home Support

Location: North York, ON M9L 2B7

Schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours

Salary & Hours: $21.00 per hour / 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment type: Permanent Full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. 1 to less than 7 months experience in supportive care. Criminal record check required. Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Must be authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Feed or assist in feeding.
• Provide companionship.
• Provide personal care.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Work environment: Non-smoking private home setting. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment).
