Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Personal Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for servicing and growing an existing book of personal insurance business while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. The role offers the flexibility to work out of either our Vaughan or North York offices.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, or fax
Conduct thorough renewal reviews, recommend coverage updates, and perform market comparisons
Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional insurance products
Process renewals, endorsements, change requests, and claims efficiently using EPIC and carrier portals
Ensure accuracy and completeness in all policy documentation and communications
Issue in-house endorsements and pink slips as required
Organize and prepare documents for new business, including obtaining necessary signatures
Order MVR, Autoplus / DASH, and HITS reports as needed
Collaborate with and support other team members to meet client and business needs
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of personal insurance experience
Valid RIBO license (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario)
Experience with EPIC brokerage management system
Strong knowledge of insurance carriers and underwriting guidelines
Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering outstanding service
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
