Overview

Your Daily Adventures

Responsibilities
  • Master the Employee Lifecycle: Seamlessly manage high-volume daily employee changes across the U.S. and Canada, from exciting new hires and promotions to smooth transitions and terminations, including same-day pay when needed.
  • Ensure Payroll Precision: Maintain impeccable data accuracy by meticulously reviewing new hire paperwork, proactively resolving any incomplete documentation, and diligently updating payroll systems with all action items.
  • Optimize Compensation & Benefits: Accurately calculate and process all payroll components, including overtime, federal holidays, PTO, and comprehensive deductions (taxes, insurance, retirement plans like 401k/RRSP, and other benefits).
  • Champion Benefit Administration: Expertly handle employee enrollments and changes for all U.S. and Canadian retirement and group insurance plans.
  • Streamline Time Off Management: Proactively manage and audit PTO requests, ensuring proper documentation and smooth approvals to prevent processing delays.
  • Ensure Compliance & Communication: Accurately process wage garnishments and collaborate with HRBPs to uphold policy and procedure integrity.
  • Be the Go-To Guru: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, efficiently managing the payroll inbox and resolving non-complex issues with a helpful and friendly approach.

  • Data Entry & Management: Master efficient and accurate data handling.
  • Years of Experience: Min 3 years in a similar role
  • Payroll System Proficiency: Navigate and leverage payroll software with ease.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Command key tools like Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Mathematical & Numerical Acumen: Apply strong numerical skills to complex calculations.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in every task, leaving no stone unturned.
  • Superior Organizational Skills: Juggle multiple priorities and maintain a streamlined workflow.
