A local diner in Hamilton is looking for a part-time Line / Prep Cook to join their kitchen team. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant and holds a valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with the kitchen team. Evening and weekend availability is required. Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00.

What You'll Do

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year cooking experience in a full-service restaurant (not fast food or food court)
  • Solid prep and knife skills; able to read and follow kitchen systems and specs
  • Valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate (must be current)
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Available to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis
