An independent educational institution in New Westminster is looking for a dedicated Out of School Care Supervision Aide. This role involves supervising students who are part of the Out Of School Care Program, focusing on the development of social skills. Successful candidates are required to hold valid certifications, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience working with children. The position offers hourly compensation ranging from $21.65 to $24.65 depending on experience and requires candidates to report to management on incidents when necessary.

Urban Academy’s licensed Out Of School Care (OOSC) Program offers reliable care for students from JK to 12 year olds when school is not in session. The program includes only Urban Academy Students and focuses on social skills development, cooperation, participation, and fun! OOSC creates a safe, welcoming, respectful experience for students and implements all UA policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Urban Academy is currently inviting dedicated, team-oriented candidates to apply for our Out of School Care Supervision Aide position for the 2025-2026 school year. This person will be responsible for supervising students who are registered in our licensed child care center in the afternoon, from 2:45 pm to 4:15 pm, Mondays to Fridays and on days when the school is not in session. There may be on-call shifts as needed.
Hourly compensation range: $21.65 - $24.65 based on experience.
Candidates report to the OOSC Manager and Junior School Principal and will be asked to report any accidents witnessed, along with behavioural incidents to the Junior School Principal in a timely manner.
