About The Role – Operator – MMU (Goose Lake Mine)

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Operator – MMU (Mobile Mixing Unit) within our Orica Canada team focused on ensuring production occurs on a timely basis following all safety procedures and taking a pro‑active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.

This position is based out of the Back River Gold District of Nunavut, Canada.

Work Schedule: 21 days on / 21 days off

What you will bring
  • Class 3 License Required
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to quickly determine potential issues and problem solve accordingly.
  • Requires thorough and meticulous completion of regulatory paperwork
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Flexible to fast changes as needed during production process.
  • Entry level computer skills including Internet and Windows applications.
