Location: NEW SITE, Nova Scotia - On site

Hourly: $17.70/HR

Shift: Morning (7 am - 3pm)

We are searching for part-time Operators for our Guelph Facility.

About the Role

The Operator is responsible for intake, processing, and preparing of new and reused products. Reporting to the Shift Lead, the incumbent will handle scanning, sorting, and labeling of incoming products.

General Responsibilities

• Scan, wash, and dry returned (dirty) products
• Sort products based on size, scan into box, and package
• Label new inventory and repackage into box
• Prepare orders and organize inventory
• Clean work area daily including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces
• Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to take initiative and work individually.
• Able to work within a team environment.
• Able to adapt to varying responsibilities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Secondary school diploma

Working Conditions

• The facility can be subject to temperature fluctuations, humidity, food residue and odours.

Physical Requirements

• Strength Guidelines: Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination. Testing will be required.
• Motion parameters: Must be able to stand throughout an 8 hour shift involving twisting, and lifting.
• Vision and Hearing Requirements: PPE is required including earplugs and eye protection for some areas of the facility
• Psychological Demands: Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• May be required to use a computer or tablet throughout the shift.
