Job Title: Filling Plant Operator

Location: Moncton, NB

Available Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hour

Assignment Information

Advantage Personnel is currently looking for a Filling Plant Operator to join our client's team in Moncton, NB. Our client has grown to become the number one Canadian producer and distributor of gases derived from air offering innovative solutions - gas, equipment, and services - in a wide variety of sectors across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, inspect, set up, monitor and operate filling equipment
  • Quality and safety control checks of items
  • Follow all safety rules and standard safety practices
  • Keep workstation area clean to at company standards
  • Ability to perform tasks in other areas if needed
  • Ability to lift and/ or roll cylinders as necessary
  • Effectively operate material handling equipment, assembling pallets, loading/unloading trucks.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Wearing steel toe boots for personal safety and compliance with workplace safety standards
  • Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) to ensure safe handling of materials and chemicals
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, is considered an asset
