Hiring a Operations Manager with a background in Utility Trucks & Equipment or closely related business.

You will oversee the Service, Parts and Rental departments for the branch and effectively communicate with the Regional Vice President to establish production / service goals.

Overview

CTOS facility in Ayr, Ontario is a state-of-the-art production & service center spanning over 9,500 square feet.

Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (Saturdays and OT as needed).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to establish production / service goals.
  • Review financial statements, sales reports, activity reports, and other KPIs to measure productivity and goal achievement.
  • Evaluate departmental and site performance, devising improvement plans.
  • Communicate effectively with Department Managers and teams to efficiently build, service, and repair heavy equipment.
  • Review and approve estimations and repair orders with the service and production team.
  • Allocate budget resources for supplies, equipment, marketing, and personnel.
  • Organize and lead weekly meetings to assess accomplishments, upcoming tasks, and anticipated challenges.
  • Identify training and hiring needs and communicate departmental issues to Human Resources.
  • Uphold and enhance the safety culture, ensuring employees adhere to safety best practices.
  • Oversee Quality Control to ensure compliance with company quality standards and improve service and production processes to minimize errors.
  • Monitor rental efficiency for timely turnaround and high utilization.
  • Supervise parts operations, managing parts inventory and excess levels.
  • Support sales teams to drive revenue.
  • Ensure the facility is clean and presentable to customers and vendors.
  • Participate in monthly site performance reviews.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional and Technical knowledge of aerial vehicles, equipment, and heavy & light-duty trucks.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
