We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Warehouse Team as an Operations Manager.

THE DETAILS:

You’ll be joining our Calgary team at 100 - 8180 - 11th Street SE, Deerfoot Meadows, Calgary, AB, in a full‑time capacity

  • Act as a key member of the store leadership team, supporting sales performance and operational excellence.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and assume full store accountability in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of store team members, including Stock Associates.
  • Partner with the Warehouse Manager to drive Delivered Sales results and ensure timely, accurate order closures.
  • Oversee daily store operations, order management, and compliance with internal processes and audit standards.
  • Own inventory accuracy, including cycle counts, shipment processing, replenishment, and shrink performance.
  • Maintain stockroom organization and ensure pricing, tagging, and merchandising readiness in partnership with Visual.
  • Ensure compliance with Retail Brand Standards and Health & Safety requirements, including monthly inspections.
  • Oversee store facilities, maintenance, and coordination with building management and service providers.
  • Monitor open orders and product flow between the head office, warehouse, and store.
  • Identify and act on inventory risks and opportunities, including aging or compromised stock.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as directed by the Store Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • 2‑3 years of proven operations Manager experience in a Manager capacity
  • Proficient in operations and systems, including the POS system and Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of Storis and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of property management
  • Knowledge of financial management
  • Diploma/Certificate. Post‑secondary courses in sales & retail customer service would be a bonus
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills. You should be comfortable motivating, coaching, and managing a retail team
  • Knowledge of the retail furniture industry with a strong understanding of marketplace potential
