Location: Temp : Brock Road, Pickering, Base : CHQ on a rotating schedule

Work Mode: % on site

Job Overview

This position will be responsible for attending OPG Federal Pay Equity meetings in person, arranging conference rooms, supporting the Chairperson with ad hoc administrative tasks, preparing meeting agendas as directed by the Chairperson, taking notes of the meetings and sharing minutes with the committee as required. The location for meetings may alternate between Brock Road and CHQ.

Qualifications
  • Education : Minimum : High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred : Post-secondary education such as a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Entry-level : 0–2 years of administrative or HR-related experience.
  • Preferred : Previous experience in an HR or administrative support role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is an asset
  • Certifications (Optional / Asset)
  • CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation or working towards it
  • HR-related certificates (e.g., HR Management Certificate)
