Responsibilities
- High volume data entry by Microsoft Excel under the accountants' direction.
- Organizing documents from clients and scanning files as requested.
- Answering phone calls promptly, screening calls, and redirecting them appropriately.
- Fostering and supporting client relationships by liaising with clients, responding to requests and proactive problem solving.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and calendar activities.
- Representing the firm at events and networking functions
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Assisting the licensed accountant in various tasks, as required.
For this position, we require that you have the following
- Proficient in Windows Operating Software, Microsoft Office (Excel is a MUST), and Adobe
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in office administration
- Diploma in Administration or Accounting in Canada is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multitasks, work within time constraints and follow-up
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent speaking in Mandarin is not a must but an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
