Qualifications

  • Must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Clinical experience in various rehabilitation areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide community-based occupational therapy services.

Occupational Therapist – Modern OT

Permanent Full-Time, Part-time, Independent Contractor

Location: 2705, Queensview Dr, Ottawa, ON K2B 8K2

Modern OT is a community-based occupational therapy practice servicing Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Established in 1998, Modern OT has grown to be a team with more than 35 OTs, has broadened virtual and group therapy services, and has established OT clinics in Ottawa, Kingston, and Pembroke. In 2022, Modern OT partnered with Lifemark Health Group, which has led to further expansion of services offered to clients, including veterans and Canadian Forces members, First Responders, and other individuals facing physical and mental health barriers to their daily life.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Clinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to work.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Bilingualism - French and English are assets.
