A community health organization in Ontario is seeking an experienced professional for a WSIB Claims Management and Occupational Health & Safety role. The ideal candidate will manage workplace injury claims and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across multiple locations. Responsibilities include providing regional leadership, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety programs. Candidates must have a degree in Human Resources and extensive experience in claims management. Competitive salary and rotational benefits are provided.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Community Health Organization in an At-Home Care environment, supporting regional operations across multiple service areas. This role plays a key part in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our workforce while enabling the delivery of high-quality care to clients in their homes throughout the region.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in WSIB Claims Management and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), with demonstrated experience managing workplace injury claims across diverse locations. You will oversee the full WSIB claims lifecycle for a regional workforce, ensuring timely reporting, effective return-to-work coordination, and consistent collaboration with employees, regional leaders, healthcare providers, and WSIB to achieve positive outcomes and cost-effective results.
In this role, you will provide regional leadership and oversight of the Occupational Health and Safety program, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, organizational policies, and best practices across all service areas. This includes conducting and supporting risk assessments in home-based care settings, leading and reviewing incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions, and delivering safety education that aligns practices across the region.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, self-directed professional who thrives in a multi-site, community-based healthcare environment, is comfortable balancing strategic regional oversight with hands‑on support, and is committed to fostering a consistent culture of safety and accountability across all locations.
This role requires occasional provincial travel to support regional operations, including attendance at meetings, site visits, and incident or safety-related follow-ups as needed. Travel expectations are as required and rotational, based on operational priorities and organizational needs.
In addition, the position includes rotational in-office work at our Waterloo, Ontario location, balancing in‑person collaboration with remote responsibilities. Candidates must be able to travel within Ontario and attend the Waterloo office on a scheduled rotational basis to support team engagement, regional alignment, and effective service delivery.
In addition to providing home‑based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings. Through our Community Nursing Services outreach program, we’ve been organizing staff‑led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to health care since 2009.
CarePartners welcomes and encourages applicants from people with disabilities. Candidates can request accommodations at any time in the hiring process.
