Role and Facility

We are looking for one generalist obstetrician-gynecologist (OBGYN) to work in a community hospital setting with 6-7 home call on 24-hour shifts monthly. We are a close group of physicians who value independence within a supportive community of practice. Our team of three obstetricians-gynecologists provides primary and consultative maternity care and collaborates with family practice and midwifery colleagues. There is an option to supervise elective medical students with the University of British Columbia if desired. There is an opportunity to share existing office space, as all physicians practice from the same office.

Physician locums and advanced learners often comment on our exceptional collegiality, culture and commitment to quality improvement and mutual support. Fraser Health Authority is routinely one of BC’s top employers and offers many funded opportunities for career growth and development. We look forward to finding the right fit to deliver maternity care and gynecology services in the long term for our patients, staff and physicians to share pride. As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology, UBC.

Provisional license is acceptable with supervision available for US board certified physicians. Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are in a scenic area with access to amenities, outdoor activities and proximity to Vancouver.

Please forward a letter of interest, CV and three reference letters or referee contact names by no later than November 12, 2025. Anticipated start of December 1, 2025 or as soon as interviews are conducted.
