Job summary

A local family in Nanaimo is seeking a full-time caregiver to assume responsibility for their home and children. The ideal candidate will perform light housekeeping, discipline children according to preferred methods, instruct personal hygiene, and prepare meals. Candidates must be permanent residents of Canada or have valid work permits. This is a permanent position with no remote options available.

Qualifications

  • Must be a permanent resident or a temporary resident with a valid work permit.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.

Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Discipline children according to methods requested by parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
