What is the job?

The Mobile Insurance & Investment Specialist is responsible for growing Life Insurance and Segregated Fund sales portfolios in partnership with retail branches. This includes identifying new business opportunities, reaching out to customers with renewing policies and life-changing events, and supporting Financial Planners/Advisors in analyzing, proposing, and closing new Segregated Fund business. The role also involves maintaining existing portfolios and delivering excellent customer service.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Communicating effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Supporting new corporate initiatives and community involvement.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensuring regulatory and compliance adherence.
  • Accurate documentation of transactions and record keeping.
  • Maintaining required licenses and certifications.
  • Growing existing customer relationships and generating referrals.
  • Providing insurance and investment advice, including risk management products.
  • Handling account openings, maintenance, and administration of Segregated Fund portfolios.
  • Proactively contacting customers for policy renewals and portfolio growth.
  • Meeting with customers and Financial Planners to provide tailored solutions.
  • Working outside regular office hours and locations as needed.

Candidate requirements:

  • Life Licensed (LLQP)
  • Proficiency with mutual funds, segregated funds, and life insurance products.
  • Understanding of credit products and sales processes.
  • Knowledge of Coast Capital Investment Services systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and handle customer concerns promptly.
