Job summary

A leading mining company is seeking a Tire Technician for their Detour Lake Mine. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with open-pit mining equipment, specifically Ultra Class tires. Responsibilities include inspecting tires, operating vehicles, and maintaining equipment records. The position requires a minimum of five years related experience and a High School Diploma or GED. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with tires 59/80R63 & CAT 795 & 798 haulage trucks.
• Experience at a remote work site is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires and wheel components.
• Operate light vehicles to assess tire problems.
• Change out wheel/tire assemblies using a tire manipulator.
• Maintain records of all worked on equipment, wheels or tires.

Skills
