A mining service provider is seeking a Mining Equipment Technology Specialist for the Greenstone Mine in Ontario. This role involves performing repairs, overhauls, and diagnostics on heavy mining equipment including MineStar technology. Qualifications

• Experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Prior experience in an industrial setting; mine site experience is an asset.
• Experience with Komatsu or CAT equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assemblies, preventive maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls on heavy mining equipment according to schedule.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing equipment.
• Make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement.

Skills

Repair and maintenance of heavy equipment

Prior experience in industrial setting

Experience with Komatsu or CAT equipment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education

Certificate in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline
