Overview

Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking innovative individuals for multiple Medical Radiation Technologist (Nuclear Medicine) positions to perform Nuclear Medicine Imaging procedures and provide quality clinical diagnostic information and services. The department features six gamma cameras, a bone density machine, three hot labs and a dedicated PET department, with a dynamic and varied workload across Northern Ontario.

We offer a competitive salary and vacation, extended health and dental benefits, and relocation and signing incentives. Monitary incentives may include reimbursement of registration fees and signing bonuses up to $25,000.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine Imaging procedures and provide quality clinical diagnostic information and services.
  • Operate and support a range of imaging modalities used in Nuclear Medicine and PET.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, team-based environment with exposure to diverse procedures (bone scans, WBC scans, thyroid uptakes and scans, thyroid ablation therapies, renal scans, V/Q scans, GI studies, cardiac studies, oncology PET scans, bone density tests, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a three (3) year Advanced Diploma in Molecular Imaging from an accredited college.
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Candidates expected to obtain registration in the next few months and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Department Overview

Our Nuclear Medicine department is large with state-of-the-art equipment and strong teamwork. It includes six gamma cameras, a bone density machine, three hot labs and a dedicated PET department, serving patients locally and across Northern Ontario.
