Overview

Join to apply for the Media Assistant, Buying role at UM Canada.

The role of a Media Assistant, Buying is to support the team with the maintenance and documentation of the client’s media buys, as well as to assist the Buyer in preparing data for the purchase and subsequent evaluation of campaigns.

This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media investment team to ensure the product is grounded in insights and experience, resulting in flawless media executions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Buyers with campaign execution.
  • Upload media buys and track changes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of client billing estimates and reconciliations.
  • Assist in solving and clearing billing discrepancies and queries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and send out station lists.
  • Work with media partners to ensure all relevant information is obtained in order to maintain accurate media buys.
  • Ensure invoice information is collected, and follow up with external suppliers to gather missing information.
  • Accurately maintain system and client records.
  • Attend media seminars and presentations as required.
  • Develop proficiency with media-related tools and research systems.
  • Proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.
Qualifications
  • Professional or Educational background in Marketing or Advertising would give leverage to this application.
