Imperial is recruiting a Mechanical Integrity Engineer‑in‑Training to join the engineering department at our Strathcona Refinery in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You will be assigned to the Mechanical Integrity group and join a dynamic team of Engineers and Inspectors to meet the company’s safety and reliability targets.
Maintaining the reliability and operability of fixed equipment assets (piping, valves, towers, tanks, furnaces, cooling towers, infrastructure, etc.), designing new/repairing existing pressure containing systems to meet code/jurisdictional requirements, analysis of existing systems to determine fitness for service and remaining life, develop detailed execution plans for new/replacement components & provide field support during the execution phase, quantify equipment risks to assist the business team in performing risk‑based maintenance prioritization, and making recommendations for equipment/business improvement.
