Overview

Leads and oversees Product Marketing in Canada, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive a customer‑focused culture, deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Plan, deploy and measure marketing and communication strategies to drive product awareness and consideration in support of sales targets for Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending products.
  • Leverage deep consumer and product expertise, and use key marketing levers to effectively position and differentiate Scotiabank's products and services among key target audiences.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans and deploy tactics to drive consumer awareness and consideration across broadcast advertising (TV, radio, print), social and digital marketing.
  • Unite all stakeholders around a unified visual brand and creative excellence, ensuring marketing consistently breaks through and drives results.
  • Understand and incorporate the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in Credit Card and unsecured lines of credit activities.
  • Champion collaboration among key partners: Business Lines, Digital Marketing (performance and eCommerce), Channels, Retail Customer Insights, Analytics, Customer Experience, Legal and Compliance.
  • Create an environment that promotes effective operations, adherence to day‑to‑day business controls, and compliance with operational, regulatory, AML/ATF and conduct risk frameworks.
