Job description
Title: Manager, Tech Executive Reporting & Advisory

Requisition ID: 245824

Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.

The Manager, Tech Executive Reporting & Board Advisory, supports the delivery of high-quality executive reporting, insights, and governance materials for the Group Head & CIO, senior executives, and enterprise governance forums (including Board, Sr. Management, and regulatory reporting, as applicable).

Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role focuses on execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of executive reporting and decision-support processes. The Manager ensures complex inputs are accurately synthesized, timelines are met, and reporting outputs meet enterprise standards for quality, consistency, and usefulness. This role operates similarly to a consulting delivery role, translating direction into structured outputs while improving how work gets done on behalf of the ScotiaTech organization.

What this role involves
  • Execute the development of executive and governance reporting by gathering, validating, and synthesizing inputs from multiple subject-matter experts across technology, risk, finance, and operations.
  • Coordinate and manage recurring and ad-hoc executive reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and delivery against fixed governance timelines.
  • Maintain and update core reporting content for recurring executive, Board, management, and regulatory materials, ensuring consistency across interrelated deliverables.
  • Apply structured thinking to translate complex information into clear executive views (e.g., performance, risk, delivery status), under the direction of the Senior Manager.
  • Support continuous improvement of executive reporting processes, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency, clarity, and consistency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure reporting processes are followed and outputs align to enterprise, regulatory, and governance standards.
  • Challenge data quality and assumptions, escalating issues, gaps, or risks as appropriate.
  • Contribute to briefing materials and decision support for executive and governance forums.
  • Support responses to ad-hoc senior leadership and regulatory requests, including preparation of supporting analysis and materials.
  • Exercise strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining high quality standards.
Required skills and experience
  • University degree in Business, Technology, Communications, Law, or consulting.
  • Management Consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience in strategy, communications, risk management, direct senior leadership and executive support, board services, and/or roles with similar skill sets.
  • 2+ years in banking/financial services or consulting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to quickly learn new subject matter, action revisions with minimal instruction, and coordinate a cohesive deliverable with a variety of stakeholders concurrently.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external multi-disciplinary stakeholders to enable collaborative partnerships.
  • Thrives in a challenging and dynamic business environment with aggressive deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and understanding of prioritization.
  • Advanced PowerPoint experience is essential; high proficiency with Excel and SharePoint Site Management are an asset.
