About the Role

The Den at Nita Lake Lodge is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, elevate guest experience, drive revenue, and support a strong hospitality culture. Reporting to the Restaurants General Manager and Director of Food & Beverage, this leader shapes service excellence, supports team development, manages the wine program, and ensures operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily pre-shift, ensure readiness, ambience, and luxury service standards
  • Support service on the floor, manage guest recovery, and deliver exceptional hospitality
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development for the team
  • Maintain strong team morale and a guest-first culture
  • Oversee wine and beverage program, including ordering, inventory, and seasonal updates
  • Manage scheduling and labour costs aligned with business volumes
  • Monitor financial performance, check averages, and beverage revenue
  • Lead inventory counts and cost control
  • Champion The Den’s brand experience and support online reputation management
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3‑5 years of leadership experience in a premium or high‑end restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and wine service
  • Serving It Right certification required
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Experience with POS, labour systems, and inventory tools
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
