Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast‑paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food industry standards, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, controlling inventory, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, hire, train, and evaluate restaurant staff to ensure high performance and outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and adherence to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Possess basic baking and culinary skills, with the ability to step in and perform cooking or baking duties when required.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and consistently follow the restaurant’s menu recipes and preparation standards.
  • Manage inventory control, supplier ordering, and proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Operate and oversee POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health department requirements.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and shift management to ensure efficient service during peak and off‑peak hours.
  • Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, sales tracking, and profitability analysis.
  • Address guest feedback, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Implement and maintain staff training programs focused on food service management, culinary standards, and hospitality excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, handling, and preparation techniques.
  • Proficiency with POS systems; cash handling experience is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively.
  • Experience in managing quick‑service & fast‑food restaurants as well as fine‑dining or casual dining environments is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee shift management and operational workflows efficiently.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen management is advantageous.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
