A leading logistics company in Peel Region is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee receiving, stocking, and daily warehouse operations. The candidate will manage a team, handle returns, and ensure quality in the logistics process. With a minimum of 5 years in Reverse Logistics required, this position offers medical benefits, wellness programs, and a retirement savings plan.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager plays an integral role in researching and/or coordinating the daily logistics activities for both clients requested, and carrier notified returns, transfers and OS&D’s. The incumbent would be required to complete client’s requests with required data from Return Processes, identify and forward to appropriate carriers for tender, monitor freight movement for same within the network, input all details into the software, transfer data to pre-completed receiving reports, investigate, trace and obtain necessary documents from carriers websites, communicate and provide necessary documentation to the Client, Metro Claims and Operations ensuring all required processes, communication and timelines are adhered to.
