Job description
Overview

Cherish at Central Park is a vibrant age-in-place seniors’ community where residents are loved like family and staff create meaningful connections every day. We are seeking a Manager, Hospitality Administration and Finance who can bring both strong financial expertise and a warm, people-centered approach to leading our team through an exciting phase of growth.

This role is not only about numbers—it’s about people. From responding to an emergency pendant call, to socializing with a resident and their family at a special event, and coaching staff with patience and compassion, no two days are ever the same. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and value building trust, consistency, and community, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead full-cycle accounting and finance functions, including Sage accounting, Ceridian payroll, compliance, purchasing, and monthly reporting.
  • Supervise and support administration across multiple teams: front desk, bookkeeping, hospitality, leisure, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Oversee policy, procedure, and task management for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Guide implementation of digital platforms for food service administration and other operational improvements.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to our front desk and bookkeeping teams, helping them grow with confidence.
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end financial reports and support the General Manager with administrative planning.
  • Foster a warm, professional, customer-service-focused environment for residents, staff, and families.
  • Embrace flexibility—whether it’s troubleshooting an urgent issue, socializing with residents, or problem-solving unexpected challenges.
What We’re Looking For
  • CPA designation (or equivalent experience) with a strong accounting and financial management background.
  • Proven leadership experience (2–3+ years) in supervising multi-functional admin teams in a structured, professional environment.
  • Strong technical expertise with Sage, MS Office, and digital system implementation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills—empathetic, patient, and approachable—with the ability to connect authentically with residents, families, and staff.
  • Organized and adaptable, able to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-paced 24/7/365 community.
  • Eden Associates & Experience working in seniors’ living, healthcare, or hospitality environments is preferred.
Role Details
  • Full-time, one-year contract in a 24/7/365 senior living environment.
  • Must be prepared to occasionally respond to calls or emergencies outside of regular office hours.
