A leading Canadian bank in Toronto is seeking a Manager, Stress Testing & Credit Provisioning to ensure effective reporting and compliance with IFRS9 and CECL standards. You will be responsible for executing time-sensitive production runs, maintaining reporting infrastructures, and delivering critical analyses to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in programming and database management. The Stress Testing & Credit Provisioning team provides Senior Management within Risk Management, Finance, Business units (including: Capital Markets, Canadian Banking, I&TS, Wealth Management, Insurance, and legal entities) and Investor Relations with expert analysis and guidance on the Bank's stress testing and credit provision, includes IFRS9, and CECL and Stress testing program.
Team also provides support for the review & analysis of RBC’s Enterprise Wide Stress Testing (EWST) results that are used in Board level risk appetite statements.
The Manager, Stress Testing & Credit Provisioning will be executing production reporting processes, evaluating SOX control and assisting to enhance process efficiencies and reduce operational risks. As the subject matter expert on IFRS9, and CECL and EWST data, you will be interacting with model implementation teams to understand the data lineage for IFRS9 and, CECL and EWST calculations.
