The Audit function located in our office in Regina is looking for a Manager to join our dynamic team. Our professionals help our clients manage risk so they can focus on their core business. As part of the management team, you will lead KPMG's audit teams and ensure proper accounting practices are applied. Clients will look to you to add value throughout the audit engagement. What you will do
  • Oversee and manage client audits from planning to completion
  • Participate in the practice group to support group business plans
  • Collaborate with practice management to meet financial goals
  • Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff
  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting methodologies on client engagements
What you bring to the role
  • Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a public practice accounting firm
  • Experience with Canadian accounting frameworks (IFRS, ASPE, NPO, Public Sector)
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to develop strong relationships
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities
  • High standards of client service and motivation
  • Proven ability to build a client base and generate revenue
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail
  • Professional accounting firm experience required
