We are seeking talented individuals for the position of Maintenance Supervisor at our Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada location. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a crew dedicated to maximizing long-term equipment availability within cost constraints. The role also emphasizes minimizing safety incidents and environmental excursions beyond accepted limits.

Key Responsibilities

1. Motivate craft personnel and determine the appropriate craft/skill/crew for each job.
2. Coordinate and follow up on maintenance jobs, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
3. Recommend improvements and cost reductions.
4. Identify causes of failures, breakdowns, and repetitive repairs.
5. Suggest skill levels and training courses for apprentices and journeymen.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 per annum. The actual salary offered will depend on education, experience, and internal parity.
