Overview

Job Description: Logistics Coordinator at Re:Circle Solutions. Department: Organics. Reports To: Transportation Manager. Supervisory Role: No. Classification: Non-Exempt. Compensation: Hourly. Location: Ontario.

From collection to sorting, processing and diversion, we repurpose unsold food-packed or unpacked to its highest value: to feed animals, to create biofuels and fertilizers and close the loop on packaging where possible. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and laws.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and maintain a professional relationship by acting as the central point of communication.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Make shipping arrangements as necessary.
  • Track and fix shipping errors.
  • Prepare bills and invoices.
  • Process and handle shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Maintain excellent communication to clearly relay information to all involved parties.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Utilize SAP software.
  • Create documents, spreadsheets, etc., using Microsoft Office software.
  • Perform general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, and filing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in logistics and logistics coordinating.
  • Experience in trucking or in an industrial yard environment.
  • Exposure to SAP Business One and Samsara (training opportunities available within the Company).
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
