A leading insurance provider is seeking a Licensed Broker for their Contract Surety Account Executive position. The role involves developing business opportunities and managing relationships with contractors and developers. Candidates must have an active RIBO License and at least 3 years of experience in commercial insurance, particularly in surety. Develop & Expand Business – Identify and close new contract surety opportunities across Canada.
Build Key Relationships – Become the go-to advisor for contractors, developers, and procurement teams.
Deliver Expert Bonding Solutions – Structure bid, performance, labour & material, and maintenance bonds to meet client needs.
Advise on Risk & Capacity – Guide clients through bonding capacity, indemnity agreements, and underwriting criteria.
Leverage HubSpot CRM & Vertafore SIG – Manage pipelines, track submissions, and optimize follow-ups.
Collaborate with Underwriters – Secure competitive terms from leading markets.
Drive Revenue Growth – Consistently exceed sales targets for new business and renewals.
Active RIBO License (in good standing) – Required
3+ Years Commercial Insurance Experience – Surety focus strongly preferred
Proven track record in closing mid-to-large scale bonding accounts
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills
CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred); Vertafore SIG experience is a plus
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive remotely
