Role Summary

As a Site Superintendent, you will oversee day-to-day field operations, manage rope access crews, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Success in this role means leading by example, developing strong client relationships, and empowering your team to perform at their best. This role is critical to our organization’s success; you will be the bridge between project planning and execution, ensuring that our values of safety, integrity, and teamwork are lived out on every site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
  • Oversee rope access operations and promote a strong safety-first culture.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to plan and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Track and review daily reporting (labor hours, equipment usage, material consumption).
  • Conduct site walk-throughs with clients, ensuring satisfaction and exploring additional work opportunities.
  • Support, train, and mentor new technicians, building leadership capacity within your team.
  • Manage subcontractors and equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate daily safety meetings and proactively address risks or hazards.

Qualifications

  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 (minimum)
  • Red Seal Certification
  • Construction safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid, HILTI, SSI)
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and rope access operations
