A day in the life of a Legal Account Manager:

  • Educate all branches in the assigned region as required on recovery techniques, legal processes, and procedures.
  • Stay organized and manage deadlines with all required legal and administrative duties.
  • Manage your region’s revolving monthly PCO inventory to review and flag as “pre-lit” / ”legal”.
  • Manage recovery portfolio of written-off loans through action and activity; phone calls, text messages, emails, required legal action including service of legal documents.
  • Proceed with legal action on delinquent accounts through the Small Claim Court process.

What we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years of related experience in a similar role.
  • 1-2 years Collections experience (Asset).
  • Post-Secondary Education preferred (College or University).
  • Full Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
  • Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, self-motivate, and work independently.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office / SharePoint (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with people at various levels across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability for accuracy.
