Overview

Worley is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, Nuclear, in Markham or Kincardine, Ontario, with extensive experience in the Ontario nuclear industry. You will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality design packages while maintaining Worley’s standards for safety, compliance, and technical excellence.

You will be part of a growing team that is embedded in the transformation of Ontario’s Nuclear fleet, working on critical projects, some of the most ambitious clean energy programs in the world.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the development of I&C Engineering deliverables such as DSDs (Descriptive System Document), loop diagrams, logic narratives, instrument indexes, and system architecture.
  • Coordinating design execution and managing interfaces with clients and other engineering disciplines on projects or major work packages.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements (CNSC, CSA N-series standards) and client specifications.
  • Support proposal development, scope definition, estimating, and scheduling activities.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers.
What you will bring
  • Technical and Industry Experience: Senior level experience in Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
  • Experience working in the nuclear industry.
  • Expertise in nuclear design standards including CSA N285, N286 and N299 series.
  • Eligible for nuclear site security clearance.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
