Qualifications

• GMC registration with a licence to practise at appointment.
• Approved Clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence or provide evidence of proposed alternative.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the South Kent Coastal Community Mental Health Team.
• Involved in strengthening relationships with external agencies.
• Lead the screening of referrals and assessing new ones.

Skills

Excellent knowledge in specialty

Excellent clinical skills using bio‑psycho‑social perspective

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty

Experience in clinical research

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification

Fully registered with the GMC

On the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of completing CCT
