Job summary

A global service provider in Canada is seeking a dedicated team member to manage linen processing in a high production laundry environment. Responsibilities include sorting, operating washing equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts from the cart washer exit as required.
• Operates flatwork ironer, small piece folders, and folds linen following predetermined standards; processes specialty items.
• Responsible for quality control and ensuring linens meet the quality expectations designated by specific customers. Refer questions or issues to the lead or supervisor.
• Identify each linen distribution cart with proper labels and tags; cover all linen carts prior to transport.
• Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist the truck driver to load linen and/or materials on the truck.
• Inform the lead or supervisor on par level or quantity of supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the work area.
