Responsibilities
  • The Land Analyst prepares, issues, tracks and inputs documents related to large scale land acquisition projects.
  • Support day to day office activities and order supplies for land administration team
  • Support the land administration team with all landowner payments
  • Support preparation of all documents needed for the acquisition of real estate rights for the construction, reconstruction, enlargement, or maintenance of transmission and/or distribution facilities including easements, deeds, leases, licenses, permits, damage agreements, right of entry agreements, option agreements, contracts, and other documents as required.
  • Support on due diligence and handle in office hard copy land acquisition documents
  • Initiates and tracks agreement milestones, contractual obligations, and deadlines
  • Supports completion of land ownership and Rights, Title, and Interest research
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Post secondary education or equivalent experience in Land Administration or Land Acquisition
  • Experience with in office document management considered an asset
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills and a committed team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Able to organize and set priorities, handling multiple tasks in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Able to problem solve and proactively identify timeline/ deliverable challenges.
