Welcome to M3, we are looking for an experienced Labour Foreman to join our team.

As a Labour Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate the work of labor teams on construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. Your responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, maintaining site organization, and guiding crew members. We seek candidates with strong leadership skills, construction industry experience, and a commitment to high-quality work. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a skilled team on diverse projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Organize tools, materials, and setup for daily operations.
  • Supervise laborers, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Plan and delegate construction tasks such as drywall installation, taping, and mudding.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Manage material movement on site to optimize workflow.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety checks.
  • Inspect work for quality and compliance with standards.
  • Address issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Oversee site cleanup and debris disposal.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors about progress and site conditions.
  • Support team development and skill growth.
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities as projects evolve.

Qualifications :

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or at least 3 years of journey-level carpenter experience.
  • Additional certifications may be required.
  • Strong creativity and design skills.
  • Skills in cabinet making or joinery.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Proper PPE and carpentry tools.
  • Troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina for lifting and working at heights or in tight spaces.

Nice to Haves :

  • Own vehicle or reliable transportation.
  • Fall Protection, First Aid, and WHMIS certifications.
  • Experience with high-rise projects.
  • Heavy Equipment tickets.
  • Residency in or access to Vancouver and Lower Mainland sites.
