Overview

SOKOL GxP Services is seeking a Lab Operations Associate to support our client’s CPD Laboratory Operations team in New Brunswick, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of new laboratory equipment, while also assisting with compound and inventory management activities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include fulfilling compound requests, cataloging and labeling compounds, performing quality control checks on lab instrumentation, utilizing inventory management software, and completing sample management work orders. You will also deploy small laboratory equipment throughout the site to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Details

This is a 100% on-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule during normal business hours. The assignment duration is 4 months.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical, biological sciences, or engineering (required)
  • 0–3 years of relevant laboratory experience
  • Experience in compound management preferred; demonstrated competency in chemistry or biology lab work
  • Familiarity with analytical balances and/or liquid handling instruments desired
  • Strong problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship or C2C accepted)
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly rate: | $21.41 – $27.20/hour (W-2 only, no C2C)

4-month contract with possible extension
