BBA is currently seeking a project planner. Under the supervision of a senior planner, your role will consist of preparing and monitoring schedules.

Responsibilities
- Develop and update schedules for all project phases: engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning
- Ensure project planning, organization and monitoring using tools like Primavera P6
- Analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for the project or study manager
- Produce progress reports and performance indicators
- Update schedules, both weekly and monthly
- Prepare reports and maintain ties with project management to plan activities and project scheduling
- Maintain all planning and progress reports
- Propose solutions to project managers to correct identified gaps and adhere to schedules
- Exercise independent judgement in selecting, filing, compiling and analyzing data from various sources
- Carry out all other related tasks that could help deliver projects

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- College diploma or university degree
- At least three years of relevant experience, ideally in the industrial or mining sectors
- Knowledge of design and construction processes
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Primavera P6
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Asset: available to travel
- Asset: experience with EPCM projects
